Frameline 47 is a good application to add to the list as it enables comprehensive Video Annotation with MPEG-7 & Final Cut Pro export, as well as providing pretty powerfull Quicktime Editing functionalities and Enhanced Podcast from Video Export.

Nice job gathering up all the goodies into these posts. Really teriffic.

You know, Garage Band is a fantastic audio editing app and pretty spiffy fo use in podcasting, narration, voice-overs and any time you need a simple, quick multi-track mixing deck that is simple and powerful. No tutorial manual is required.

It is often overlooked, but GB has some great and useful editing effects built-in (Including auto ducking) and supports audio units plug-ins.

This fact (plug-in support) alone allows you to snap up to some pretty high-end audio post processing audio on a budget, and in without a lot of hassle.

[...] Newspaper Video:Editing and Apps. Part 4. Andy Dickinson just can’t stop adding to his series of posts on apps for newspaper vid-folk. Which is a good thing: this four-part series tells you everything you need to know about the current state-of-the-art. [...]
