Editor as Entrepreneur Lessons from the Digital Front

On May 15th my department is hosting the 6th Journalism leaders forum on the topic of the Editor as entrepreneur.

This is a networking event and panel discussion with plenty of interesting people around.

The panel consists of

Nick Jaspan is a serial entrepreneur who co-founded and sold Newsco Publications, opened and closed the North West Enquirer and in April launched the regional media news portal, How-Do. He is non-executive director of j4b (Just for Business), an information publishing, technology and business services company based in Wilmslow, Cheshire.

Chair – Bob Eggington is a journalist-turned-tech-whizz whose many new media projects have included establishing BBC News Online. Eggington is an associate staff member of the Journalism Leaders Programme
