It seems that the part of the reason they did it was that a lot of the background was orginally written and shot for a scene as they flew to Saudi - in flight exposition. But pacing wise it slowed things down. 

You&#039;re right, it does seem like overkill given the nature of the film but you could say, fair play for keeping it in at all. Perhaps that makes it a half-brained actioner rather than a no-brainer.</description>
