This is very cool but apart from looking at a globe it seems like one of those cool technologies looking for a use.
Still looks very cool.
A bit of fun for the end of the day.
A great big hat tip to Adam Tinworth for this.
Adam points out that you need to watch it to the end. Never a problem with the Muppets. Brilliant.
Lots more on you tube including a great ode to joy by beaker and this from my favorites – Statler and Waldorf
Labour MP and Under Secretary Of State for Defence and Minister for Veterans Tom Watson has hit Twitter. A human face compared to a lot of the parlimentary twitter that goes on.
With that in mind I idly did a search for MP’s etc on Twitter. Came across quite a few but this made me smile.
Compare it to this
Is the leadership battle still going on in cyberspace? Is the Lib Dem Yellow a lighter, younger yellow?
Still it made me think about going around and cleaning up some of my loose ends and profile cobwebs.
Last in my (just invented) Day’o'screengrabs. Those of you using wordpress may have seen, via the dashboard, that Top Gear (the show and magazine) are using wordpress for their web presence. Cue a lot of comments from Toyota driving reps.
From the screengrab above you can see that they haven’t quite got the excerpts sorted yet but it looks good.
Just in case you think Clarkson has goen green and is recycling old posts, don’t panic. It’s just the excerpts.
Couldn’t resist this one.
Having re-installed OSX on my laptop and battled with shifting apps back on to the hard drive I though I would have a bimble around the Apple download page to see what was new. I found a little game called TV station manager:
TV Station Manager is a simulation game that lets you take control of a small independent TV station, about to go bankrupt.
The current TV boss hired you to help the company recover from this bad situation, so now it’s up to you!
How great is that
I played the demo on a news and entertainment setting. No poption to go online so I lost a lot of money very quickly. Who says games aren’t true to life
I’m now working hard on ‘newspaper manager’ which is a cross between this and arcade classic Worms
